Well, I'm trying...even if it's not so happy. Christmas is tomorrow and I'm totally not in the spirit. This year it's just not the same.
I feel like I'm going on auto pilot. No thinking...just doing.
The kids are a great distraction. You can't help but smile when you see their faces as they open presents. Paige has taught Haley well in the art of being dramatic.
This year I didn't bake a million types of cookies....in fact I didn't bake at all. I didn't go all out for my annual christmas eve dinner. We're made chili...just about as easy as it gets.
I still haven't finished wrapping the kids gifts....I'll finish tonight after 10pm church (it's what my mom would have wanted).
