My brother is in Iraq...it's his second time being deployed. I just got this photo this week and it felt good to actually see him (albeit a photo).
We've been sending him packages weekly and Paige draws him pictures. We've been emailing too.
I'm so proud of him! I cannot fathom doing what he is doing...
I wish we had gotten to grow up together but am so glad that we've gotten closer as we've gotten older.
My kids think the world of him and when they see him instantly break out in giggles.
We miss him and think about him all of the time. We're counting down the days until he comes home.....
