Yesterday, Haley had an accident at school.
Somehow she fell in the bathroom and hit her mouth on something (the big mystery is what she hit it on). In the process she cut just above her lip...and oh how it bleeds! It not only bled but also swelled...her lip was 3 times its normal size (this picture was taken this morning and it has improved 50%!).
Because it wouldn't stop bleeding...we ended up in the emergency room. It only required one stitch but nonetheless, it was traumatic! Imagine having to hold you child down as someone stitches them back together (as they scream and yell...no mommy no).
Haley was very brave and even managed to sneak in a nap while we waited for the numbing meds to kick in.
Today she is finally back to eating and drinking (a little at a time)...
